AMU Opens Admissions to M.Phil,  Ph.D Courses 2011-12
Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced the entrance test for admissions to M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes in different disciplines on February 5, 2012.

Candidates holding Master's Degree or its equivalent in relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for the exam. Besides, Candidates with CPI/NAG/CGPA and holding Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks are also eligible.

Candidates working in an externally funded research project in the university if eligible is allowed admission to these programmes while continuing work in the project provided he obtains certificate from the Principal Investigator of the project.

Those who are eligible for admission in more than one Centre/Department/Unit in the same or different faculty of the varsity can apply maximum in two disciplines.

Admission Forms can be submitted up to January 12, 2012.
