Aligarh: The
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) City Girls High School today organized a program for the disbursement of merit
scholarships to students who secured high percentage of marks in the 2007-08 academic session.
Prof. V.K. Abdul Jaleel, Registrar of the varsity and the manager of the University Schools, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Prof. Jaleel awarded students for their creative work. He boosted up the moral of students and teachers as well in his speech.
Prof. Jaleel said, "I am satisfied with the working of the Principal and staff members. The standard of the school is better then ever before."
He also encouraged students and teachers of the school to work towards maintaining high standards in both education and extra-curricular activities.
He also recognized some students who stood winners in the other function of the University as he was present in those programs.
