Doon varsity gets new VC

Dehradun: Girijesh Pant, Director of Gulf Studies programme at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Doon University.

This announcement was made by a Raj Bhavan spokesperson here on Tuesday.

Prof. Pant will serve as Vice-Chancellor of the varsity for three years from the date of joining.

Prof. Pant is an expert on West Asian affairs.
