Uttaranchal: G. B. Pant Engineering College has announced admissions for its two Masters in Technology programmes, namely M.Tech in Digital Signal Processing and M.Tech in Biotechnology.

Students for M.Tech in Bio-Technology should have passed out with a Bachelor's degree (4 years Program) in any of the subjects, namely- Pharmaceutical/Veterinary/Medical/Agricultural Sciences, or Engineering subjects/Physical Sciences with adequate knowledge of Chemical/ Biological Sciences. (With minimum 60 % of aggregate.

To pursue M. Tech. (Digital Signal Processing, students should hold Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in anyone: B.Tech. /B.E. (4 years UG course in Electronics & Comm./Electrical Engg. /Computer Sc. & Engg. / Control & Inst. Engg./ Instrumentation Engg.) / M.Sc. in Physics (Electronics) or its equivalent as specified by Govt. of Uttarakhand / India

Further, students belonging to SC/ST can get 5 percent relaxation. Preference will be given to candidates who already obtain Valid GATE score card.

Completed application forms can be submitted latest by 5th July 2008. Candidates can apply on prescribed format and send it to The Registrar, G.B. Pant Engineering College, Pauri (Garhwal) -246194.
