Kolkata: The Council of School Certificate Examination of India (CISCE) has decided to reschedule the Board exam for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII, which was scheduled to start on February 28, 2012. This exam will now be held on February 27, 2012.

The move has been taken in view of the All India Industrial Strike called by major trade unions on February 28, 2012. The date for exam and strike are clashing and therefore, no exam will be conducted on that day.

However, students in Kolkata are still confused as the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is yet to take a final decision in this regard.
