Certificate Programme in Video Production at IP University

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), has announced admissions for the third batch of its Certificate programme in Video Production, to be offered under the aegis of Centre for Media Studies (CMS), located within the University Campus at Kashmere Gate.

The Certificate programme in Video Production is targeted at media professionals and students who wish to acquire the knowledge of film making.

The course will provide inputs on camera handling, lighting, sound and editing and will emphasize more on practical learning than theoretical knowledge.

The three months programme will commence from January 2009.

The classes for this course will be held from Monday to Friday, in the evenings. The programme fee is Rs.15,000.

The minimum eligibility criterion for course is 12th pass from a recognized Board/ equivalent. Admission will be granted on the basis of first-come-first serve.

Interested candidates can obtain the Application Form from the Centre for Media Studies, GGSIPU, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110403 on any working day till December 8, 2008, or can even download it from the University website www.ipu.ac.in.

The last date for submitting completed applications is December 8, 2008 by 5 pm. The Admission/ Counselling is scheduled for December 10, 2008.
